TRAVEL TIMELINE

Wednesday, May 28, 2025 : Drive from NYC (~ 11:00 AM) to Antrim, NH (~ 3:30 PM)

Thursday, May 29, 2025 - Sunday, June 1, 2025 : Services in Washington, Antrim, Hillsborough and Deering, NH 

Sunday, June 1, 2025 : Drive from Antrim, NH (~ 7:00 PM) to NYC (~ 11:00 PM)

DAY 1 SCHEDULE (Wednesday, May 28)

On Wednesday, May 28th, Andrew, Allen, and Nico depart NYC. There is one rented van, which will be used to transport large instruments, and 2 passenger cars, a Subaru Crosstrek, and a Toyota Matrix. 

Allen or Andrew will be in touch with Jonathan, Dani and Nico to coordinate pick up, transport, and drop off of your instruments on or before Wednesday, May 28th.

Andrew and Ela drive in the rental van. Nico drives Jonathan, Jimmy, Dani, and Alyssa in the Subaru.  Allen drives Emery, Raha, and Kelsey in the Toyota.

All three vehicles depart from 510 West 135th, New York, NY 10031 around 11:00 AM on  Wednesday, May 28th.

On the way, we stop for lunch at Mitchell's Public House, 490 Pleasant St in Holyoke, MA 01040.

We arrive in Antrim, NH by 3:30 PM and have time to settle into homestays.

Ela, Allen and Andrew stay at 20 Summer St, Antrim, NH 03440. Everyone else stays at 21 Summer St, Antrim, NH 03440 (directly across the street!).

Rehearsal is from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM at the Fuller Public Library (29 School St, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

DAY 2 SCHEDULE (Thursday, May 29)

Breakfast is provided at homestay.

Plan to leave by 10:00 AM.

Morning rehearsal from 10:30 AM - 12:45 PM at the Fuller Public Library (29 School St, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

Lunch is ____ from 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM at the Fuller Public Library (29 School St, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

Afternoon rehearsal is from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Fuller Public Library (29 School St, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

Dinner is from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at Tooky Mills Pub (9 Depot St, Hillsborough, NH 03244), down the street from the Fuller Library.

Evening rehearsal is from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM at the Fuller Public Library (29 School St, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

DAY 3 SCHEDULE (Friday, May 30)

Breakfast is provided at homestay.

Plan to leave by 9:00 AM.

We do a workshop with students (~ 35 first graders through fifth graders) during visit to the Washington Elementary School (337 Millen Pond Rd, Washington, NH 03280) from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM.

Lunch is ____  from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM at the Deering Community Church, UCC (763 Deering Center Rd, Deering, NH 03244).

Rehearsal is from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM at the Deering Community Church, UCC (763 Deering Center Rd, Deering, NH 03244).

Light snack from 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM at the Deering Community Church, UCC (763 Deering Center Rd, Deering, NH 03244).

In the evening, we perform "Musical Journeys" program at the Washington Elementary School (337 Millen Pond Rd, Washington, NH 03280). Sound check is at 5:00 PM, concert at 6:00 PM, reception/meet and greet is from 7:10 PM - 8:00 PM.

Dinner will be after the performance at the Country Spirit Tavern (262 Maple St, Henniker, NH 03242).

DAY 4 SCHEDULE (Saturday, May 31)

Breakfast is provided at homestay.

Plan to leave by 8:30 AM.

Our morning rehearsal is from 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM at the Deering Community Church, UCC (763 Deering Center Rd, Deering, NH 03244). The choir will join us from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. 

Lunch is at DCC  from 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM.

We have multiple performances at the History Alive Festival (Center Rd and E Washington Rd, Hillsborough, NH 03244), all starting at 1:30 PM and ending at 3:00 PM. Each 20-30 minute set will be performed three times, with breaks as you need them!

Group 1 (Raha, Ela, Andrew) performs " Songs and Ballads of the Revolution" at the stables and cemetery opposite the Congregational Church (614 Center Rd, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

Group 2 (Jimmy, Kelsey, Dani, Jonathan) performs Country Dances at 590 North Road, Hillsborough, NH 03244.

Group 3 (Emery, Alyssa, Nico) performs "Reflections: Early American Music" at the Congregational Church (614 Center Rd, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

We finish with a full ensemble performance (30 minutes) of "Echoes Across the Pond" at 4:00 PM at the Hillsborough Centre Club (27 East Washington Road, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

Dinner is at 20 Summer St, Antrim, NH 03440.

We perform "Musical Journeys" program at the Antrim Town Hall (66 Main St, Antrim, NH 03440). Soundcheck is at 6:30 PM, concert is at 7:30 PM.

DAY 5 SCHEDULE (Sunday, June 1)

Breakfast is provided at homestay.

Bring all of your belongings, we will not come back to homestays before we leave to NYC this evening! Everything will be stored in the van until we leave.

We leave at 11:00 AM to go to the Village Art Cafe (17 W Main St, Hillsborough, NH 03244), call for performance is 11:30 AM.

At 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM, we perform Nathan Mondry's Selfie Cantata at the Village Art Cafe (17 W Main St, Hillsborough, NH 03244).

Lunch is at the Village Art Cafe (17 W Main St, Hillsborough, NH 03244). Be ready to leave by 2:10 PM.

At 2:30 PM, we have a soundcheck at the Deering Community Church, UCC (763 Deering Center Rd, Deering, NH 03244). We perform "Heavenly, Heavenly Harmony!" program with the choir members of DCC, Henniker Congregational Church, Smith Memorial Church, Antrim Songsters and community volunteer singers at 4:00 PM. Reception follows from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Dinner is on the way back (TBD options).

We depart for NYC at ~ 7:00 PM, same car configurations as before and arrive in NYC around ~ 11:00 PM.
